The pastor greeting for the occasion of the 100 year anniversary
Dear Friends,
As the pastor of Saint Rocco's Parish, I am very overjoyed by the celebration of the 100th anniversary of our parish, a time to recognize the achievement of our Church.
I am grateful to my staff: Mrs. Karen Salinas, Mrs. Michelle Ormond, Mrs. Josephine Passaretti, Mr. Andrew DiOrio and specially to the Parish Council, for making the 100th anniversary event a terrific success. It is important to take time to acknowledge the people who excelled in their respective endeavors, and to congratulate the groups, especially the Senior Citizen; the cornerstone among the English speaking community; and a special way to our Association, who have supported our programs thus resulting in their utmost success. This is a day to express our gratitude to all those volunteers, who have given so much of their time, talents and energy to serve our parishioners. This is also an opportunity for all of us to joint together and congratulate Bishop Tomas Daily and the Vicar, Michael Brennan who have given so much of themselves to Saint Rocco's Church. We are proud to announce on this day the recipients of "Saint Rocco's Workers and Volunteers Award" they are Mr. Andrew DiOrio, Mrs. Susan Mammolito, Mrs. Licille Grieger, Mrs. Filomena Zappoli, Mrs. Karen Lee Salinas, Mrs. Michelle Ormond, Mrs. Josephine Passaretti, and Mr. Leonardo Bubbico, all of whom have earned this distinction through their constant dedication to our community. We are thankful to our friends and advertisers, who through their generosity and concern for our parish, have supported our pastoral programs and made this event possible. Let us rejoice as a parochial family in this special day in the life of our Christian community, who are the standing strength other future of the church.
